Every individual who is a resident of India is eligible to open a zero balance account. To open a zero balance account online, one needs to have a valid Aadhaar and PAN card. As per RBI’s regulation, banks can open savings account online through Aadhaar OTP verification.
In order to apply for Bank of Maharashtra debit card, you will have to visit the nearest bank branch and get in touch with the representative. Alternatively, you can get in touch with the BOM customer care and follow the procedure.
Zero-balance accounts have a limit on the number of transactions you can make per month. Usually, banks allow only four monthly withdrawals. If you do make more than the permitted number of withdrawals, the bank will convert your zero-balance account into a regular Savings Account.

- Properly filled in savings account application form.
- Employee Identity card.
- Three copies of passport size photographs.
- Latest three months’ salary slips.
- Proof of salary details.
- Address proof & ID proof (As per KYC norms)
